Q. I use Ubuntu Feisty, and I am attempting to record in Audacity with a Logitech USB mic from the Rock Band game. Audacity is recognizing it, but says there is an error opening the sound device. Suggestions on similar programs that might work better are greatly appreciated as well.
A. Have you tried running alsamixer in terminal and unmuting the mic as well as turning it up a bit?

Q. My computer crashed yesterday. Currently, I am running PCLinuxOS through a boot disk. The internet browser doesn't work very well. And every time I reboot, I lose my web browsing history.

A. If you run something through a USB stick it will always loose it's memory, you won't be able to save anything until you have it on your PC's HDD, sorry.
Is there a modding software like Modio or USB XTAF for Linux?
Q. Is there any modding software that can read from a Xbox 360 memory unit like Modio or USB Xtaf can for Linux. I am currently running Ubuntu 11.04 and can't seem to find anything. Also neither Modio or USB Xtaf work under Wine.
